Hey there,The name’s Samuel and I’m serving as the secretary for S.A.M. (catchy huh?) I’m the first male secretary for a Singapore students club in Melbourne so I guess I’ve got pretty big heels (I mean, shoes) to fill too! I’ll be working with the rest of the S.A.M. committee to organise activities to meet fellow Singaporean (and non-Singaporean) students and will try to make all members feel a part of the S.A.M. community.
I’m currently working towards a Bachelor of Business (Banking & Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws, plodding along in my 2nd out of 5 long years. I’m an Ambassador in the Faculty of Business Ambassador Program and also part of the Ancora Imparo Student Leadership Program (any of you first years interested in applying for these, look me up and I’ll see how I can help). All in all, a very busy student (me thinks!)
It doesn’t mean that all work and no play make ‘Sam’ a dull boy though! I do enjoy sports such as soccer (staunch Liverpool fan!) and long-distance running, and on the occasional free time, I go with friends on nice scenic drives to explore Melbourne and search for good food. J Since I’m a dual-campus student, you can probably find me wandering around in the Caulfield campus or in Clayton (usually around the Law Building or Menzies), so do give a friendly wave if you happen to see me.
